You had me at the title, Tiffany! Great read! Really well done.

After my mind came up with it - I had to follow through. In all seriousness, I thought I'd never see scientific honesty around the uncertainty, it's a good day for (real) science.

I had to diagnosis my own disease and disability, partly because it was so rare and partly because of the medical community throughput Kaiser did not know the steps to diagnosis me. It took me three months to figure out what I had through extensive research it took 2 1/2 years for the medical community to achieve the same conclusions. I feel your pain

I’m sorry that happened, but I’m glad that you figured it out. I think patients overestimate what their medical team and doctors can do and know. We know a lot, but no one can advocate for you like you can. Thank you so much for sharing your story Phil.

I totally remember Dr’s in white coats telling us all about fake medicine.

It’s paywalled so hard, I can’t even see what it’s about! Do you remember or do you have access to know what the story was?

A group of people calling themselves “America’s Frontline Doctors” and wearing white medical coats spoke against the backdrop of the Supreme Court in Washington, sharing misleading claims about the virus, including that hydroxychloroquine was an effective coronavirus treatment and that masks did not slow the spread of the virus.

I have difficulty believing anything coming from this current Administration.

Thank you for providing contacts. I’ll check it out using the date and that description. After the many, many shortcomings that was the pandemic response, trust in public health is at an all-time low. The more I learn though, the trust we afforded public health agencies for decades seems to have been grossly misplaced. I hope that increasing transparency over time will remedy that. It’s gonna take a lot.
